Millbrook West Golf Course Development - Coronet Nine

New Zealand golf at its best. Set in a natural, alpine amphitheatre, against the backdrop of the Remarkables mountain range, the golf course at Millbrook exploits the dramatic terrain fully, delivering world-class golf. Millbrook is quite simply a fantastic golf resort. The original 18-hole, par 72 championship course was designed by renowned professional and master golfer, Sir Bob Charles.

The new 9 holes (known as "Millbrook West" or "The Coronet Nine") designed by TMGD, and now in play, further enhances player choices and enjoyment of playing golf at Millbrook. The new nine continues the existing themes of fantastic views, integration with the dramatic landscape and accessibility to players at all levels. It also offers some new, exciting challenges to the thinking golfer with a number of holes having multiple options from tee to green.

Crowning the successful opening of the new 9 holes and renovation of 5 of the existing 18, Millbrook Resort was vote the Best Golf Resort of Australasia.

Millbrook Director of Golf Brian Spicer said the award placed Millbrook among the elite golf resorts of the world and recognised its highest standards of course design and delivery, as well as Millbrook’s standing as one of the most scenic golf courses in the world. “The awards reflect the fact that our recent multi-million-dollar investment in the golf course and its outstanding facilities, including our innovative covered driving range converted from a former woolshed, has been recognized by visitors who play some of the best courses around the world.”
